I just started using my real name online. I was nervous but it felt like the right time,and when Robert Scoble said he didn't really trust anyone hiding behind a "username", that sealed the deal for me...

I use my real name in a lot of venues, but I also use a screen name that's been associated with my face for quite some time. It's all a matter of where I'm residing, online, at any moment.

As far as the rest goes - there is no such thing as mutually exclusive, these days. Ask anyone who has had their text messages tapped, and used against them.
